A pair of coin silver sugar tongs by R.H.L. Villard, Washington DC, circa 1835.

Interesting engraving around bend, marked on each side and in excellent condition. Villard likely also worked in Maryland for a short time and is mentioned in "Maryland Silver" pub. by the Baltimore Museum of Fine Art in 1975.
