A coin silver teaspoon by Johnson & Reat, Richmond, Virginia. This piece bears their earliest known mark as shown in the Cutten Book on Virginia Silver.
I suppose this spoon could have been made as early as 1805. In any case it is the only item with the early mark by these makers that I have seen. Nice finless form, a few bumps in bowl, as seen in the photo.
