A large and decorative sterling silver centerpiece bowl by Whiting Mfg. Company with the date mark for 1913.

The diameter is 14 1/2 inches including handles, and the bowl stands 6 1/4 inches tall. Good heavy weight at 38.32 ounces troy. The finest Whiting bowl I have owned and produced well before the company was acquired by Gorham. A great example of early 20th century American silver and in superb condition.
