A set of eight 7 1/4 inch forks by Duhme & Co. Cincinnati, Ohio.

These are sterling silver forks in the "Medallion" pattern of 1885.

This is a multi-motif pattern as you can see in the photos, and is perhaps the most interesting and collectable of any Duhme flatware. The "hammered" look perhaps presages the "Arts & Crafts" movement which followed in later years. All the forks have the name "Hale" engraved on bottom of handle as shown in the photo. All are in superb condition. I have handled a lot of Duhme silver and these are the first pieces in this rare pattern that I have had.

$1800. set

I also have a pair of Demitasse Spoons in this pattern and from the same estate at $75. each. Email me if you are interested.
