A diminutive Silver Tea Service, Chinese Export, certainly old, and with
superb repousse and ornamental elements. The figures are in very high
relief and well detailed. The reticulated base of each piece stands on
three Foo Dogs that serve as feet. The set is quite heavy, weighing 47.7
ounces troy.
$2000
Though unmarked, the silver quality is good, about .900 and has been
thoroughly tested by me.
The teapot, which I suppose would hold over a pint
of tea, weighs 30.8 ounces.
Height of teapot is nearly seven inches.
Condition is excellent.
