A teaspoon by Wm. A. Platt, Columbus, Ohio, circa 1835. Platt was also involved in several partnerships during his work in Columbus. His silver items are quite scarce. I have said many times that Ohio silver is under appreciated and underpriced. This piece is excellent and the mark is stronger than the photo suggests. Nice early form. $65.00
