A 64 piece coin silver flatware service by Clemens Oscamp, Cincinnati Ohio. Oscamp began business there in 1854 and this set was likely produced before 1860, when the sterling standard became prevalent. Along with Herman Duhme, Oscamp's business became one of the most important in the midwest. This service, that bears two of Oscamp's maker's marks was both made and sold at his shop at 62 Main St. in Cincinnati. The beautiful engraved work is of Oscamp's own design and is similar to other engraved patterns popular in that city.
As with other services made in that period, knives were not included.

The set consists of the following:

23 teaspoons
12 forks
11 salad forks
12 soup spoons
6 tablespoons
