A 3 1/2 inch salt spoon by John Campbell, Fayetteville and Cheraw, North Carolina, and later in Nashville, Tennessee.

The maker's mark is shown in both "The Silversmiths of North Carolina" and "Tennessee Silversmiths". The spoon exhibits a little pitting around the bowl, sometimes seen on salt spoons. Otherwise it is quite nice.
