An impressive and large silverplated trophy in the form of a two handled SOLD
cup, very heavy and in fine condition. The pictures show the fine detail of
this cup, over eleven inches tall to to top of handles.
The silver plating shows no wear and the piece is about
as flawless as one could ask.
As to the "APA", there are several possibilities, including the American
Psychiatric Association. My guess is that this piece was presented to the
Kentucky Branch, because they hosted a national convention in Lousiville.
Dated January 1912. Interestingly, the cup was made by Homan of Cincinnati.
An impressive piece at a low price.
