Henry Faulkner (1924-1981) Oil on Masonite. Bowl of Strawberries, likely painted in the 1960s. Strawberries seemed to have a special meaning to Faulkner, and he painted several variations of this still life. Outside dimensions are 12 X 10 1/4 inches. This signed painting is a fine example of Faulkner's work, much of which was done in and around Lexington, Kentucky, where Faulkner spent most of his later years.
