An engraved portrait of General Robert E. Lee, done about 1866. This well documented hand colored likeness was engraved by W.S. Jackman and printed by Blelock & Co. of New York. Coloring and condition is superb. Inside dimensions are 9 3/4 X 7 3/4 inches. Reframed at some point by Wheaton's, Memphis, Tennessee. The walnut frame is quite handsome. This is perhaps the best engraved portrait of the General.
